LEAP Africa is one of Nigeria’s foremost non-profit organizations, dedicated to raising a new generation of dynamic, innovative, and principled African leaders.
Since its founding in 2002, LEAP has consistently focused on leadership development, youth empowerment, and bridging the skills gap that limits young people from fully contributing to national growth.
Through its flagship programs such as the Youth Leadership Program (YLP) and the Social Innovators Programme (SIP), LEAP has trained and supported thousands of young people, providing them with tools to lead change in their communities.
In 2024 alone, the organization expanded its SIP fellowship to support over 40 young social innovators across Africa, offering mentorship, seed funding, and global exposure.
LEAP Africa also invests heavily in education-focused initiatives, including equipping teachers and school administrators with leadership skills to strengthen Nigeria’s educational ecosystem.
Its emphasis on sustainability and accountability ensures that the impact of its programs extends beyond individuals to entire communities.
