Teach For Nigeria is a nonprofit social enterprise committed to ending educational inequity by addressing the learning crisis faced by children in underserved communities.
Since its inception, the organization has recruited and trained young leaders known as Fellows who commit two years of their lives to teaching in low-income schools while working to improve learning outcomes for students.
The impact of Teach For Nigeria has been profound. Thousands of children across multiple states have gained access to quality teaching, mentorship, and improved learning opportunities through the fellowship.
In 2024, the organization scaled its reach by expanding into more rural areas, while also introducing digital learning tools to ensure that students in marginalized communities remain connected to quality education despite infrastructural challenges.
Beyond immediate classroom teaching, Teach For Nigeria fosters a lifelong network of alumni who continue to champion systemic change in education.
Many Fellows go on to establish their own initiatives or take on leadership roles in education policy, further amplifying the organization’s mission to create long-term impact.
