In a country where many young people are still learning to trust the stock market, Feji Iyeke is proving that smart investing is not just for the older generation.
Popularly known as “Your Money Guy,” Feji has become one of the most recognizable young voices teaching Nigerians how to build wealth through patience, knowledge, and discipline.
How he started out
Born Iyeke Oghenefejiro Emmanuel, Feji’s story is one of curiosity, persistence, and self-belief. He studied Pharmacology at Delta State University (DELSU), but even as a science student, his mind was always fixed on business and investment.
While in school, he won the Best Entrepreneur in Basic Medical Science (2022) and built DELSU’s Best Student-Friendly Restaurant that same year. Those early experiences became the first proof of his entrepreneurial skill and leadership spirit.
Feji’s background played a big role in shaping who he is today. His father, a Chartered Accountant, taught him about business and the value of saving and investing early, while his mother provided the constant encouragement that helped him stay confident through his many trials.
Feji often says, “My father showed me the importance of investing and delayed gratification, and my mother gave me the support to keep going.”
Like many young Nigerians, his journey was not smooth. He once lost money chasing get-rich-quick schemes such as MMM, Loom, and Racksterli. But instead of giving up, he took those losses as lessons. He realized that wealth does not come overnight, and that investing in oneself is the most valuable investment anyone can make.
Today, Feji has built a solid reputation as an entrepreneur, stock market investor, and financial educator. Through his social media pages, he shares honest conversations about money, stocks, and the Nigerian economy, helping young people understand how to make smart financial decisions.
His most recent achievement is the release of his book, “Nigerian Stocks 101: The Ultimate Guide to Investing in the NGX.” The book breaks down how ordinary Nigerians can start investing in the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) without going bankrupt.
It reflects Feji’s mission, to make investing easy, accessible, and less intimidating for beginners.
Feji’s business journey goes beyond finance. He has founded ventures in the restaurant industry, experimented with NFT projects like Blue Boys NFT, and impressively made his first million at the age of 21.
He is now a registered author and publisher in Nigeria, using his voice to inspire others to take charge of their financial future.
When asked about his philosophy in life, Feji keeps it simple, “Start. Fail fast. But never stop trying.”
That attitude, bold, humble, and determined defines his journey. As Nigeria’s economy continues to change, Feji Iyeke stands out as a new kind of leader, one who combines youthful energy with deep financial insight.
Through his work, he is showing young Nigerians that true success doesn’t come from shortcuts, but from learning, trying, and never giving up.
Feji Iyeke isn’t just teaching people how to invest in stocks, he’s teaching them how to invest in themselves.
