Tega Clifford – Nominated for Content Creator of the Year at the MOI Awards

Oghenetega Enyoyi Clifford, widely known as Tega Clifford or Tega of Lagos, is a Chartered Banker, YouTuber, and Digital Content Creator who represents the perfect blend of professionalism and creativity.

Born on February 25, 1999, and originally from Delta State, Nigeria, Tega has built an impressive career that bridges the worlds of finance, media, and lifestyle.

A graduate of Covenant University, where she earned a BSc in Sociology with Second Class Upper honours, Tega’s journey reflects passion, resilience, and constant growth. While at university, she was actively involved in sports, dance, and student welfare, a hint at the leadership and confidence that now define her career.

Today, Tega works as a Relationship Officer at First City Monument Bank (FCMB), after previously holding the same role at Access Bank Plc, where she spent nearly four years building strong client relationships in business banking.

A certified member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), she continues to push boundaries within the banking sector through innovation, customer service, and strategic engagement.

Beyond banking, Tega has carved a distinct niche as a YouTuber and content creator, producing lifestyle videos that focus on beauty, natural hair, personal growth, fashion, and productivity.

Her channel, Tega Clifford, is known for its honest, relatable, and inspiring content, from makeup tutorials and “Get Ready With Me” videos to movie reviews and YouTube growth tips. For Tega, YouTube is more than a platform; it’s her safe haven, a space where she can truly be herself and connect with a genuine community.

Her early professional experiences shaped her drive and versatility. She interned with Guaranty Trust Bank, where she worked in both the Bulk Teller and Merchant Relations departments, contributing to GTBank’s SME MarketHub and events like the GTB Fashion Weekend and Food & Drink Fair.

She also volunteered with the National Commission for Refugees, supporting refugees and asylum seekers in Nigeria, and later worked with Connect Marketing Services, handling activations for brands such as MTN, Stanbic IBTC, and Promasidor.

While serving as a youth corper at Connect Marketing Services, Tega began her YouTube journey, a move that would later define her online identity.

Her exposure to experiential marketing helped sharpen her creativity, presentation skills, and confidence, leading her to host interviews and engage with tech innovators, including one with Silas Adekunle, during the TECHPLUS event at Federal Palace in 2019.

Tega is also an entrepreneur, running Tega’s Thrift Store, a budget-friendly fashion hub that allows customers to “slay on a budget” with quality outfits from top brands.

Her work in branding, customer relations, and digital storytelling continues to position her as a dynamic voice for young Nigerian professionals balancing corporate life and creative ambition.
