Marlon Nichols – Nominated for Investor of the Year at the MOI Awards

Marlon Nichols is an American investor and co-founding Managing General Partner of MaC Venture Capital, a top seed-stage firm backing founders who build culture-shaping companies.

A former professional athlete turned technologist, Nichols earned his BS in Management Information Systems at Northeastern University and MBA at Cornell University, then worked at Intel Capital and became a Kauffman Fellow.

Under his leadership, MaC has grown its assets under management to over $600 million, led by three funds including a $150 million close in 2024. His early investments include MongoDB, Pipe, Blavity and Thrive Market.

Nichols is celebrated for his ability to spot global trends, empower overlooked founders, and bring diversity and inclusion to venture capital.
