Emmanuel Efe Emefienim (born 23 June 1969) is a distinguished Nigerian banking executive and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Founder & CEO of Premium Trust Bank.
His academic credentials include a B.Sc in Microbiology and two master’s degrees (Banking & Finance; Business Administration) from University of Benin, along with executive and leadership training from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Emefienim’s career spans decades across major Nigerian banks: beginning at Oceanic Bank Plc (now part of Ecobank), then moving through United Bank for Africa Plc, Savannah Bank Plc / FSB International, and Equitorial Trust Bank before assuming senior leadership at Sterling Bank Plc as Executive Director, Institutional Banking in 2018.
In March 2022, he resigned from Sterling to lead Premium Trust Bank, a newly-licensed commercial bank in Nigeria focused on innovative institutional banking services.
