Funke Akindele is an award-winning Nigerian actor, filmmaker, producer and media entrepreneur best known for the character “Jenifa.” Her breakthrough came from the sitcom Jenifa and its long-running TV adaptation Jenifa’s Diary, which she produced and starred in.
