Paradigm Initiative (PIN) is a leading social enterprise that leverages digital inclusion and digital rights advocacy to improve the lives of underserved young Africans.
Founded in 2007, PIN has consistently bridged the gap between disadvantaged communities and the opportunities of the digital age, empowering youth with skills, knowledge, and platforms to thrive in today’s economy.
Through its flagship programs such as LIFE (Life Skills, ICTs, Financial Readiness, and Entrepreneurship), PIN trains young people in digital skills and entrepreneurship, equipping them to create sustainable livelihoods.
In 2024, the initiative expanded its training centers to new regions in Nigeria and beyond, reaching over 15,000 young Africans with practical skills in coding, digital marketing, and business development.
PIN is also a strong voice in the fight for digital rights across Africa. Its annual Digital Rights in Africa Report has become a reference point for policymakers, advocates, and researchers seeking to safeguard freedom of expression, data protection, and online civic participation.
The organization has successfully influenced policies across multiple African countries, ensuring that digital spaces remain open, safe, and inclusive.
