Oluwaseyi Mercy Omisakin is a Nigerian-born medical student, content creator and podcaster whose journey spans continents and ambitions.
Born in Bauchi and raised in Kaduna, she is a first-child in a family of four. As she puts it, her early years were filled with movement and adaptation, before settling into a clear trajectory: medicine.
At a young age she accompanied her father, himself a doctor, into the operating theatre, and by fifteen she knew she wanted to be a doctor too.
Today, she is studying medicine at Caucasus University in Georgia, with aspirations to specialise in pediatrics.
Parallel to her medical path, Omisakin has built a public presence. On social media she is known as “@the_oluwaseyi_”, identifying herself as both “Doctor ⚕️ | Influence | Creative”.
She hosts the podcast Talk The Talk Podcast With TheOluwaseyi, where she discusses life, ambition, identity and social change, reaching a growing audience of young Africans seeking inspiration and relevance.
