Kunle Afolayan is a celebrated Nigerian filmmaker, actor, and producer widely regarded as one of the leading voices in African cinema.
Born in Lagos in 1974 to the legendary actor Adeyemi Afolayan, popularly known as Ade Love, he grew up in a family deeply connected to the arts.

Afolayan studied Business Administration at the University of Lagos before training in filmmaking at the New York Film Academy, where he honed the craft that would later define his career.
