Chinwe Bode-Akinwande Foundation (CBA Foundation) is a non-profit dedicated to supporting widows and underprivileged children across Nigeria.
Founded with a mission to alleviate the struggles faced by vulnerable groups, the foundation has become a beacon of hope, championing women’s empowerment, child welfare, and social justice.
Through its signature program, 5 Pillars of Impact (Women Empowerment, Health, Nutrition, Quality Education, and Self-Empowerment), CBA Foundation provides widows with financial literacy, vocational training, and small business support, helping them achieve financial independence.
In 2024, the foundation expanded its outreach, directly supporting over 3,000 widows with skill-building programs and distributing scholarships to hundreds of children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The foundation also prioritizes advocacy, working to challenge cultural norms and systemic barriers that perpetuate the marginalization of widows in Nigerian society.
Its health interventions, including free medical outreach programs, have reached thousands of women and children, improving access to basic healthcare.
