Chief Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma, popularly known as Innoson, is a trailblazing Nigerian industrialist and the founder of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM), Africa’s first indigenous car manufacturing company.
From humble beginnings in Nnewi, Anambra State, where he started out trading spare parts, Chief Chukwuma transformed his vision into a legacy by building a company that produces cars, buses, and trucks proudly made in Nigeria.
Through IVM, he has not only challenged Nigeria’s dependency on imported vehicles but has also demonstrated that African ingenuity can compete on a global scale.
His factory employs thousands of Nigerians directly and indirectly, contributing significantly to job creation, technology transfer, and industrial growth.
Beyond manufacturing, Chief Chukwuma remains committed to affordable mobility for everyday Nigerians, ensuring that locally made vehicles are within reach of both government and private users.
