Abiodun Folashade Tokunbo, popularly known as CEO Luminee, is a prominent Nigerian fashion designer and the founder and creative director of Anjy Luminee Couture, a high-end fashion house based in Ikeja, Lagos.
Her brand is known as Anjy Luminee Couture, also called House of Luminee. Tokunbo is celebrated for imaginative, avant-garde design with a strong focus on Nigerian styles such as aso ebi and lace outfits.
Her creations are favourites among celebrities, including Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Abraham, Iyabo Ojo, and Sola Sobowale. Beyond design, she runs the Luminee Fashion School, where she trains and mentors aspiring designers.
She founded her business in 2013, starting with a single sewing machine and limited fabric. A breakthrough came after she designed a standout dress for Mercy Aigbe, which brought widespread attention to the label.
The name “Luminee” reflects her brand philosophy,the idea that her designs illuminate the minds and moods of her clients.
