Ahmed Ololade, professionally known as Asake, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who has rapidly risen to become one of the most defining voices of contemporary Afrobeats and street-pop.
Born on January 13, 1995, in Lagos State, Asake grew up immersed in Nigeria’s bustling music culture and began his artistic journey with dance and performance.

In September 2022, Asake released his debut album Mr. Money With The Vibe, which debuted at number one on several charts and set streaming records across Africa and beyond.
The project showcased his distinctive blend of Fuji-inspired vocals, Amapiano rhythms, and street-hop energy, establishing a unique sonic identity that resonated globally. His sophomore album, Work of Art (2023), reaffirmed his artistry and further cemented his reputation as one of the most consistent hitmakers of his generation.
