Iyinoluwa Aboyeji – Nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year at the MOI Awards

Iyinoluwa Samuel Aboyeji (OON) is a Nigerian entrepreneur and investor, widely recognised as one of Africa’s leading tech-innovators.

He co-founded Andela (2014) and Flutterwave (2016), and currently serves as General Partner at Future Africa, a venture-platform supporting mission-driven innovators across the continent.

Born on 28 March 1991 in Lagos and educated at Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja, Aboyeji earned a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies at the University of Waterloo in Canada.

At Andela, he helped build an engineering-talent network connecting African developers to global firms. At Flutterwave, he led a payments platform enabling African businesses to transact globally.

Through Future Africa, he is now investing in and mentoring startups addressing Africa’s biggest challenges, from fintech to education.

Aboyeji’s leadership has earned him multiple honours, including being named to Forbes “30 Under 30”, the New African “100 Most Influential Africans” list, and Nigeria’s Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
