Chiamaka Nwakalor-Egemba, known professionally as Chef Amaka, is a Nigerian Afro-fusion chef, culinary entrepreneur and influential food content creator.
She hails from Awka in Anambra State and was born on 8 August 1991 in Lagos.
Educated in Economics at the University of Lagos (Class of 2014), Chef Amaka began her career through event ushering and modeling before discovering her passion for hospitality and food.
She founded Dish L’ Afrique and hosts the culinary experience brand “Chow With Amaka”, bringing together authentic African ingredients, wellness-driven cooking and stylish food entertainment.
In 2024, she was appointed as the President of the Culinary Arts Practitioners Association of Nigeria (CAPA), signalling her leadership within the Nigerian culinary landscape.
